What is included in the cost of my registration?
Your conference registration includes full and open access to all conference educational sessions (excluding pre-conference workshops) and any free social events. Conference attendees are responsible for all related expenses such as air travel, meals, ground transportation and lodging.
When will registration & the hotel room block open?
Registration and the hotel room block will open in mid-January 2020.
Do I have to pre-register for the sessions I want to attend?
No, pre-registration for conference sessions (excluding pre-conference workshops) is not required. All concurrent sessions are open and conference attendees can attend sessions as room capacities allow. Meeting rooms occasionally fill up, so be sure to get to your first-choice sessions a few minutes early!
When will the full schedule be available?
Plenary speakers, pre-conference workshops will be announced prior to registration opening in January. The full schedule of all workshops will be available in March.
Where will the meeting sessions be held?
The conference and all educational sessions will take place at the conference hotel.

How do I get my CE credits?
AASECT will be tracking all CE credits electronically during the 2020 Annual Conference. Attendance at educational sessions will be recorded through a name-badge-scanning system at the entrance to each education session. Each attendee will have a personalized barcode on their nametag that will be scanned upon entering all educational sessions which will track your attendance.
CE certificates will be distributed via email after the conference concludes.
This is my first AASECT Conference! What is the best way to connect with people at the event?
Students, new AASECT Members and first-time conference attendees are invited to a short orientation/meet & greet preceding the opening plenary session on Thursday. Select board and committee members will host you and provide information about the conference. Our social events and exhibit hall also provide great ways to meet people and connect with peers in the industry. Additionally, our mobile app also provides the option to message other attendees. AASECT is a friendly group, so if you see an AASECT name badge, feel free to introduce yourself!
Is there a printed program or Mobile App?
AASECT will offer a mobile app as well as printed program for purchase with schedule details and information. All the information you need is available through our mobile app, but we do offer a printed program which you may pre-purchase during online registration check-out. A PDF of the printed program will be made available closer to the event so you can print at home if you prefer. Stay tuned for more details on downloading the free mobile app!
How do I find my way around on-site?
All registrants have access to download the conference mobile app available in any app store which will contain maps of all meeting space. Additionally, you have the option to add a printed program to your conference registration ($5) which will include a schedule of events, room names, times and more! As always, feel free to stop by the registration desk at any time or ask a conference volunteer (wearing the bright orange lanyards) for directions or information on-site.
How accessible is the conference hotel?
Hotel Layout: The property has the Lobby Level and Lower Lobby Level. The main Ballroom area (and the AASECT meeting space) is on the Lobby Level. There is an elevator near the ballroom that takes guests quickly to the Lower Level to the Rockwood Grill, Blue Star Lounge, Santa Rosa, San Jacinto, Pointe, Grove, and pools.
Guestrooms: 28 different accessible guestrooms
Parking: 25 accessible parking spots throughout the Resort (located in various areas including Tennis, Spa, Check-in, Golf, and all levels of parking
Spa: Spa is accessible and has an ADA Lift at the pool
Tennis: hard and clay courts are wheelchair accessible; ADA shower and sink in bathrooms; extended counter in pro shop specifically built to ADA standards
Pools: ADA Lifts and ramp access
What is the registration cancellation policy?
All cancellation requests must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. No refunds will be given for cancellations after May 1, 2020. All requests for refunds made prior to this deadline date will be honored, less a $100 administrative fee.
